Today is a new recipe day.  It is already underway, and in about 5 hours, I will have a chicken creole dinner. It already smells pretty good, so this seems like it will be a successful new recipe.  Hopefully, I will have a new recipe dinner guinea pig also.

This is the recipe I'm trying:

Except that I'm using legs and I left the skin on.  I added some creole seasoning and few banana pepper rings as well.  I also squeezed in a little lemon juice (we'll have to see how that works out!) and put in a can of diced tomatoes with chilies instead of 4 plum tomatoes.  I'm planning to serve it over white rice and maybe have corn on the side.  We'll see.

In terms of the rest of my goals:
Walking is going great!  The dogs and I were out twice yesterday, and even got out after work one day last week.

I feel that I laughed a lot last week, and didn't get angry very much at all.  Last week was National Library Week and I created what I thought would be a successful activity, and it was.  We did a Titanic Survivor Games.  Nine teams competed, and they all seemed to have a good time.  I feel as though it was a very positive experience.

I think I also am doing really well with saying "I'm sorry" so much.  This is a hard habit to break, it is so deeply ingrained on my manner of speaking.  But I think I'm really making strides.

I am doing ok with the soda reduction, although I've gone a little off the road, especially the last week or so.  Next week, I'm going to have to refocus again on this.

I also have to refocus on being a better friend, and making conscious efforts to help others.  I think I'm doing ok. But I know I have room for improvement in these areas.
